Inside the project:

TAPE FIVE is an international studio project based in Germany created by multi-instrumentalist songwriter-producer Martin Strathausen. Their debut album released in 2006 sold out in Europe, USA and Asia.

TAPE FIVE combines a variety of styles and influences: The focus on Swing or Electro-Swing, but also Bossanova, Latin, Soul and NuJazz with their very own vivid retro interpretation in a classy way.

TAPE FIVE recordings and live sets have been put together with hand picked musicians from all over the world. For example singers from England, California, Siberia, Brazil and South Africa. To name just a few: Dionne Wudu, Henrik Wager, Brenda Boykin, Yuliet Topaz, Iain Mackenzie and Sha.
